What is the style of your photography?

My approach is an informal, reportage style, with a hint of fine art giving you an unfolding story of your day, in a true representation. I am always thinking about the end result, and the kind of pictures you are going to love as much tomorrow as in thirty years or more. Because of this honest approach for gathering real moments, the photos will remain timeless to you, allowing you to reminisce the love, emotion and sparkle.

Will there be lots of formal photos?

No, not if we can all help it! No one likes to stand around for ages, but if formal shots are needed then 8-10 are a good number. Then when I steal you away for a private couples shoot, I can have you back to your guests sooner. After which, I will go about the rest of the day as unobtrusively as possible - allowing you and your guests to let your hair down.

How long do you work for?

Ten hours is normally perfect. I like to get to you a least a couple of hours before the start of the ceremony, then will shoot continuously until the dancing starts. I'll only take a break during the wedding breakfast,

Do you need a meal?

Yes please! As beautiful and special a wedding is, they are a very long day, so a quiet place to eat behind the scenes is a welcome recharge for me.

I’m a little camera shy!

That's fine, many couples are. The way I approach your wedding won't have you hiding behind the bouquet or top hat, and with the occasional mild direction during the more intimate moments, will have you looking fabulous and relaxed. A pre-wedding engagement shoot is a great remedy though, as this gives us all a chance to get to know each other. It will also help to settle any shyness on the day.

Can you provide a wedding album for us?

Yes. It's one of the most fascinating elements for me, seeing the events unfold in front of you. Your story told in your own bespoke book, forever more - just like the two of you.

Do you travel?

I'm happy to travel and shoot wherever you may want, although a small set fee of £60 is charged, if travel is over 50 miles.

We want you to be our photographer, what’s next?

Great! Get in touch - I want to hear all about you both.
